What Are You Made For?
Normally this time of year, there are several conversations happening, usually all at once. What did you do for Christmas? What did you eat for Christmas? And What are your Resolutions for this year?
Google defines a Resolution as 1. A Firm decision to do or not to do something. 2. The action of solving a problem, dispute or contentious matter.
When a new year starts, it feels like a clean slate. All the baggage and history of one year is over. There is a new one, given to you. How will you spend yours?
I see so many folks who resolve to lose wait, or to make more money. My hope this year, is that you'd come alive this year. You've only got one life to live. Don't squander it. This world, it needs your best foot forward. I don't just say that, to make you feel bad or like your not doing enough. But, I truly believe, that if you knew what you had to offer this world, you would be more satisfied, more fulfilled, and have a peace that doesn't even make sense.
So, what were you made for? This isn't some, go find yourself question. You don't need a long vacation, or adventure to answer this question. What are some of the hard ships you've had to deal with? What situations have you seen, that most folks haven't? You've got a unique perspective to bring. Value it. Appreciate it. Appreciate the folks in your life, like never before.
Happy New years, and God Bless
